La Maison "Major" Pioneer Home

La Maison "Major" log home was originally built in 1898 and was owned by a local pioneer family. The squared timber house was donated and transported to the Museum site in 1980. La Maison Major is currently a restoration project to bring back its authenticity and utilize the space for pioneer exhibits and activities.
